IT & Startup (ITS) focus group at CEN
(CEN-ITS)

ITS focuses on discussing topics and explore opportunities in Information Technology (IT) domain as well as relevant Startup and Venture Capital (VC) issues. 

The IT and startup topics are often tied together in today's world. In the past two decades, IT has been one of the most fast moving industries. Startups in IT domain are abundant and have driven the whole world for the faster and better. The big and small IT startups have become the technology and backbone of the modern world.  

Here in UM and the larger Michigan community, we have a strong IT elite base and ever growing entrepreneurs with startup spirit and experience. The CEN-ITS focus group will tap into this resource network and expand it, together with you. It aims to provide valuable network, resource, brain power and opportunity to every member. 

To join CEN-ITS, please email: CEN-ITStartup-Request(at)umich.edu, with your name, phone, interest, current major (and school) or employer, and one-paragraph of your background. In this subgroup at CEN, we will meet regularly and you can network with local talents with similar interests, including local or visiting entrepreneurs, students, faculties, scholars from various schools, investors. We will have various events inside the ITS focus group, including but not limit to, salon, focus discussion, venture capital knowledge training, lunch or dinner with startup founders, focused seminars, pitch practices, and new venture assistance...
