Parking

We negotiated deep discounted permits, only $5/whole day at lot next to Ross! (Limited quantity, First Come First Serve!) (This permit goes quickly, Strongly recommend come before 8:30am!)

Please bring in exact $5 cash to give to volunteers who stand by the parking structure entrance between 8:00am-8:55am. (Conference starts 8:30am)

(Note, the gate will be open all day but ONLY those who has parking permit can park)

Normal price is $9/day(and need to apply in advance), Forum discounted price $5/whole day! We have 200 permits, but has over 600 potential attendees, First Come First Serve!

Driving Directions

From Detroit Metropolitan Airport: Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is located about 25 miles (40 km) east of Ann Arbor on Interstate-94. When exiting the airport, take the I-94 W Chicago ramp. Continue on I-94 West to the State Street Exit, #177. Turn right (north) onto State Street, then travel about two miles to the intersection of State and Hill streets. Turn right onto Hill Street and proceed to Tappan Street. Turn left onto Tappan.

From North: Take U.S. 23 South to M-14 to the Downtown Ann Arbor/University of Michigan - Main Street Exit. Continue on Main Street south ~1 miles to Packard Street. Turn left on Packard, left on Hill Street and proceed to Tappan Street. Turn left.

From Detroit (East) & Chicago (West): From I-94, take the State Street Exit, #177. Turn right (north) when traveling from Detroit, or left (north) when traveling from Chicago. Travel about two miles to the intersection of State and Hill streets, then turn right onto Hill Street. Proceed to Tappan Street and turn left.

Parking (See Conference Parking above $5/day vs. normally $9/day)

Metered parking is available on the east (East University St.) and west sides (Tappan St.) of the building. Street parking may be available in the student neighborhood south of the building. A parking ramp is available at the corner of S. Forrest and Willard streets. From the parking ramp to Ross- Walk west on Willard until you reach E. University. Take a left on E. University and proceed 200 yards to the building. You may enter through the E. University entrance or take the sidewalk through to the Tappan St. entrance.

Visitor Parking (See Conference Parking above $5/day vs. normally $9/day)

Visitor parking is available at the City of Ann Arbor's Forest Avenue parking structure, located three blocks east and one block north of the Business School - no permit is required. The rate is $0.80/hour. Credit cards are not accepted.

Street parking is available but fills up quickly in the morning. The rate is $1.00/hour.

Transportation

Shuttle and taxi services are available to and from the airport and there are many options for getting around UM and Ann Arbor once you arrive.

Lodging

There are several hotels conveniently located near the University of Michigan and Ross School of Business.
